About Us

Core Value Proposition

In the shifting landscape of financial lines insurance, business policyholders often struggle to achieve satisfactory claim results.

Complex claims too often escalate prematurely into confrontational coverage disputes, soon deteriorating into spiralling legal costs, uncontrollable multi-year delays and lasting damage to vital commercial relationships.

As trusted advisors to the appointed brokers of financial lines policyholders, we negotiate swift, amicable, and commercially sound claim resolutions directly with insurers without the involvement of external legal counsel.

Leveraging decades of market experience, precise technical know-how and longstanding relationships across the Asian insurance underwriting and claims community, our critical interventions deliver optimal claim outcomes without the friction, delay, or expense of litigation.

Our Three-Pillar Strategic Framework

Our engagement model is defined by a disciplined, conciliatory methodology designed to shift insurers from a non-committal reservation of rights or formal repudiation towards an agreement to indemnify.

01

Immediate Market Signalling & Credibility

Owing to our acknowledged standing and recognized expertise in insurance markets around Asia, our involvement in a claim sends an immediate, unambiguous signal to insurers’ leadership: this demand for indemnity is evidentially authentic, commercially equitable, and technically sound. We replace empty posturing with authoritative composure, expelling any initial presumption by the insurers that the claim is merely speculative.
02

Objective Technical Advocacy

By methodically and undemonstratively deconstructing insurers’ purported coverage defences, policy exclusions, and reservation of rights letters, we remove or minimise the technical grounds for non-payment. Our objective is not aggressive confrontation from the outset, but rather creating a clear, inescapable sense that an indemnity payment to the policyholder is the appropriate, inevitable outcome.
03

Expediting Payment Approval

Once an insurer accepts the technical merits of a claim, clearing the internal ratification process can be lengthy: line management authority, peer review/ audit scrutiny, senior executive pushback. Drawing from our decades-long experience of working with insurers, we understand when and how to act collaboratively with their internal stakeholders to expedite the validation process, and move forward smoothly and confidently toward payment.

Our Services

We advise corporate policyholders and individual board directors on disputed claims involving:

For complex and disputed claims, skilled negotiators secure the best possible policy outcome as quickly as possible

Prevention is better than the cure: removing obsolete and inaccurate clauses significantly reduces the risk of disputes over policy interpretation and underwriting intention
